Our Story
We started Mayfair & Maine in 2019. Maine has solid demand for housing, prices that still make sense, and not a lot of big out-of-state buyers competing for buildings. It's a good place to own apartments if you actually want to be the one running them.
We buy buildings, fix them up, and run them ourselves.

Why Maine
Maine is an underserved market for apartment acquisitions. Most of the larger buyers are focused elsewhere, which leaves room for someone local to find buildings worth owning. Prices still make sense, demand for housing is steady, and a lot of buildings here are owned by people who've held them for decades and are ready to hand them off to someone who'll take care of them.
